SVG Guidelines
There are quite a few tasks that require the usage of randomized SVG. For instance, the two well-known to us randomizeable SVGs are the Number Pyramid and Number Line.
Number Pyramid | Number Line |
*this is one of the possible Number Line variations, the precise Number Line type and design depends majorly on the task/question type |
By a randomized SVG I mean an SVG picture with HTML code changed in such a way that variables in it are randomized by Enhydra. When refreshed in a system, each time it gives out new number values that are set by the range of the randomized variables relevant to the answer.
We are recently able to randomize the two aforementioned SVG types. On how to randomize them, read the following articles of this chapter. They will explain how to:
- Randomize a Number Pyramid SVG
- Randomize a Number Line SVG
- What SVG Templates to use
When creating a randomizable SVG please keep in mind the weight of and SVG that they should look uniform to maintain the cohesion of images in the system. To avoid making a heavy SVG that would take time to load:
- Please only use PowerPoint - it does not create heavyweight SVGs;
- You can also use Google Presentations for your SVGs in the making, but in this case, you'll need to download Google Presentation files as .pptx, open them with PowerPoint and then save them as SVG - it will also result in a required lightweight SVG.
In terms of SVG formatting and design, please follow the recommendations below UNDER MAINTENANCE WILL BE FILLED IN SOON
